National Service Scheme Unit of Amity University organized a 'Free Blood Glucose Monitoring Facility' Camp for the faculty, staff and faculty members of the University on 4/5/2022 in the Foyer of Block A, AUMP Campus.

Chairman, NSS, AUMP, Major General Dr. SC Jain, VSM** (Retd.), informed that Amity University, under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor, Amity Lt Gen VK Sharma, AVSM, (Retd.) has been working hard for its high teaching quality and good health of the staff. This special program was organized to fulfil the objective of the continuous discharge of moral responsibility towards all staff associated with AUMP.

During the camp, fasting blood sugar, postprandial blood sugar and random blood sugar were tested free of cost. the beneficiaries whose blood sugar was found to be disordered, necessary advice and information were provided under the guidance of the Program Officer, National Service Scheme, AUMP Dr. Rachna Kathal. 

Mess workers, sanitation workers and security guards and other staff also took advantage of the 'Free Blood Glucose Monitoring Facility' in this camp. The camp started at 9:15 am and concluded at 3:30 pm. 110 people got benefitted from a free check of blood glucose and necessary guidance. On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of the Amity University, Lt Gen VK Sharma, AVSM, (Retd.), Pro VC Professor Dr. MP Kaushik, Registrar Mr. Rajesh Jain, Professor Dr. Pankaj Mishra, HODs and other staff were present.
