A One Day Workshop was organized in Amity School of Communication on the topic, “Documentary/Film Making” on 24th Feb, 2020 in Block-D, Seminar Room from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. The resource person of the Workshop was Mr. Nidhikant Pandey, Executive Producer (Head of Production), TV9 Bharatvarsh & Former Chief Director-Broadcast, Homeshop 18
The sessions dealt with every conceptual as well as technical aspects of Documentary and Short Film Making at length. The speaker through various group activities gave practical knowledge about the various aspects of camera handling, taking shots, skills and techniques of organising TV Talk Shows.
Post lunch session was conducted in the studio where the students were taught about video production, lighting, film making lighting, film shooting methods and covering all aspects of TV Production from PCR to MCR.
The sessions were very interactive and engaging as the resource person practically demonstrated the art of dialogue delivery and acting as well as a major component of making successful documentaries and short films with an impact. The students were highly benefited by the extensive field knowledge of the resource person and his easy and interesting style of delivery
