The webinar “Campus to Corporate: Interview Skills and Future Pathways” was organised with the objective of preparing students for the critical transition from academic life to the professional corporate environment. The session aimed to equip students with essential interview skills, effective communication techniques, confidence-building strategies, and clarity regarding career pathways in a competitive job market.
The event began with a formal welcome and introduction by the Event Coordinator, Dr. Nidhi Karwasra, Assistant Professor, Amity School of Liberal Arts. The webinar was graced by the presence of the respected Director, Prof. (Dr.) Rahul Tripathi, along with esteemed faculty members Dr. Neha Bhartiya, Dr. Avinash Kumar, and Dr. Shakir Hussain Malik, whose presence added academic value and encouragement to the session.
The Resource Person for the webinar was Mr. Nagendra Shekhar, Additional Vice President, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited. With over 25 years of extensive industry experience, Mr. Shekhar shared valuable insights on interview preparation, corporate expectations, professional conduct, and long-term career planning. Drawing from his experience in recruitment, training, and leadership roles, he highlighted common mistakes made by candidates, effective ways to present oneself during interviews, and the importance of adaptability and continuous skill development.
The session was highly interactive, and students actively participated by raising questions related to interview challenges, corporate culture, and career decision-making. The event concluded with a Question and Answer session followed by a formal vote of thanks.
