Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus, organised a Workshop on 'Advanced Statistical Data Analysis' on 1st May 2025, with a focused objective to equip participants with hands-on skills in data analysis using Microsoft Excel. Two sessions were conducted in the workshop. The session's highlights were the introduction and in-depth demonstration of Pivot Tables, data summarisation, data exploration and statistical analysis. Participants were guided step-by-step through creating Pivot Tables from raw data, grouping and filtering information, customising layouts for better insights and descriptive/ predictive analysis by the experts.
The workshop aimed to:
- enable the stakeholders (Institutional IQAC members and Administrative Staff) to use Pivot Tables: structure, functionality, and real-world applications.
- data-driven decision-making.
Question-Answer session was also conducted at the end of the session. The common challenges and custom use cases were also discussed. The session was followed by a short Quiz.
