Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT) organized a workshop on “Application Development Using Python and Django Framework” on 17 February 2023. The workshop was conducted to make the students aware of current trends and technologies used in the software industry. Dr. Swasti Aggarwal of Precursor Info Solutions gave an overview of Python language to IT students and made them aware of the basics of Python language using the Django framework. Django is a high-level Web framework that encourages rapid development and clean pragmatic design and helps to easily develop complex database-driven websites.
100 students from various computer-related courses participated in this workshop and gained technical knowledge on building web application development. Dr. Swasti also gave a hands-on Django such that students get a good grip on Python.
Wg. Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Kumar, Dy. Pro Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Lucknow and Brig. U.K. Chopra, Director of AIIT welcomed the guest and encouraged the students to learn the latest developments in the IT Sector which will help in their projects and drive them to better placement opportunities.
