Amity Institute of Pharmacy (AIP), Amity University Lucknow Campus, conducted a guest lecture on the “Role of Pharmaceutical Chemistry in Drug Discovery: Current Scenario, Scope, and Future Opportunities”, on 20th February, 2025 for Pharm.D. and B.Pharm. students.
The guest speaker of the lecture was Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary, Dean, NIPER-Raebareli, and Associate Professor & Head, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Raebareli. Dr. Chaudhary elaborated the latest advancements in medicinal chemistry, the importance of rational drug design, and the evolving landscape of pharmaceutical research. His insights on the future opportunities in drug discovery inspired students and faculty members alike.
This guest lecture proved to be an enriching experience, further strengthening academic-industry collaboration and inspiring young minds towards innovation in drug discovery. The event was coordinated by Dr. Rahul Kumar Maurya from AIP, AUUP Lucknow under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Anuradha Mishra, Head of Institution, Amity Institute of Pharmacy, AUUP Lucknow Campus.
