Amity School of Communication, Amity University Lucknow Campus, organised an insightful guest lecture on 'Industry Trends–Media, Advertising, and Startups' by Mr Varul Mayank, Co-Founder, Knocksense Media Services Pvt. Ltd. During the session, Mr. Mayank emphasised the importance of staying updated with emerging industry trends while highlighting the continued relevance of ethical media. He encouraged students to develop a habit of reading newspapers rather than solely relying on digital platforms for news.
He shared valuable insights into career paths, job roles and growth opportunities in media and advertising, narrating his inspiring journey from an intern to the co-founder of a successful startup. Through real-life case studies, he shed light on industry challenges, success stories, and essential skills such as content marketing, storytelling, branding, and entrepreneurship. Discussing the future of media careers, he advised students on adaptability and professional growth, stressing that “Good internships are the key to professional success.”
