Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus, successfully organised a vibrant AMIPHORIA-2025, the annual Youth Festival, on the 5th, 6th and 7th days of March. Led by Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht, the Honourable Pro Vice Chancellor and Campus Head, Amity University Lucknow Campus, Wg Cdr Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, Dean Academics, and Chairperson, AMIPHORIA , Prof. (Dr.) Manju Agarwal, Dean, Student Welfare, assisted by Dr. Rajeev Verma, Deputy Director, Academic Affairs, HoIs, HoDs, faculty, staff and students, worked hard to make it a grand show. This year’s theme, Relive, Rejoice & Recharge, emphasised enjoyment, rejuvenation and a positive distraction from studies, after some hard work during the year.
AMIPHORIA-2025 was distinctly remarkable from its previous versions. To start with, students were evidently energetic, both in numbers and spirit! The events were truly outstanding. Each passing year, students seem to be taking their performances to amazingly higher levels! There was good variety in stalls, with a good representation of the most popular categories. All three days, there were some outstanding performances. Difficult to say, which day was the best. However, with Amity Designer Award, the balance seemed to be slightly tilted towards Day Two!
There was good participation from students belonging to other colleges and universities, making it a highly vibrant event. The atmosphere was electrifying and the performances were simply sensational. Keen enthusiasm from over 20 sponsors was a testament to the ever-growing clout of AMIPHORIA.
The event began with the Carnival Float Parade. Led by Dr. Anil Vashisht, Honourable Pro Vice Chancellor, and other office bearers, students marched towards the central stage.
In a remarkable move, departments were given a theme each, for instance, Ganesh Chaturthi, Baisakhi, Onam, Eid-ul-Fitr and Holi. With their attire and props, some of the most popular Indian festivals/occasions were represented in unison. One after the other, contingents came and filled the atmosphere with life and joy. And the Gods seemed to be smiling on Amity. There were high wind gusts, bringing the temperatures down considerably, making it a comfortable walk. The parade culminated at the Central stage, with a cake-cutting ceremony, a sweet and auspicious start.
Major attractions over the three days were:
March 5, 2025 (Day 1): Inaugural, Sufi Khayal Band, XUBERANCE
March 6, 2025 (Day 2): Kavi Sammelan, Amity Idol, Amity Designer Award
March 7, 2025 (Day 3): Expressions, Rockfest, Valedictory
