ASL Coffee House, Amity School of Languages, Lucknow organized a Debate Competition on 6th May 2022 on the occasion of Day of Belongingness and to celebrate the Birthday of Chancellor Dr. Atul Chauhan under the auspices of Prof. (Dr.) Kum Kum Ray. The topic for the debate was “Tradition Blends with Modernity”.
This was an inter-departmental competition and 18 students from different departments registered for the same. The competition started at 2:15 p.m. and concluded at 4:15 p.m. The audience as well as the participants actively participated in the attack- defend round thereby making the competition a successful one.
Dr. Mala Tandon, the Head of the Institution of Amity Institute of Education, was the chief guest as well as the judge for the competition. She too praised the entire organizing committee for conducting such an interactive and fruitful debate competition.
The Event was well coordinated by the Faculty Coordinators - Dr. ABR Prasad and Dr. Archana Gupta along with Ms. Pranjal Tripathi as the Student Coordinator. The entire organizing committee consisting of BA (H) English (Sem-2) completed the task efficiently and the event turned out to be a resounding success.
