Dr. Vivek Patkar, Retd. Professor of Quantitative Methods and Operations Management
This was a workshop which was taken by Dr. Vivek Patkar, Retd. Professor of Quantitative Methods and Operations Management at the ICFAI Business School, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The workshop was held in two days on 24th May 2019& 10th June 2019 at City Campus, Amity University Mumbai. The workshop was organized by the Department of Clinical Psychology for M.Phil Clinical Psychology. The participants were students of M.Phil Clinical Psychology Part I& Part II. The objective of the event was to understand the different aspects of scientific research; methods, procedures, statistical analysis, implication& ethics in research. The session was focused more on interaction and topic discussion of the students. The adequate use of Power Point presentations was a made students attentive. The session was throughout an interactive one.
The objective of conducting this workshop was:
1. To understand the methods in scientific research.
2. To understand the ethical standards in research.
3. To understand the implications of research.
By the end of the workshop students understood scientific research it methods, procedures, statistical analysis and ethics in research.
