The Industrial Visit to Badve Engineering Pvt’ Ltd. Khalumbre, Chakan, Pune was conducted on 30th March 2022 by Department of Mechanical Engineering for UG and PG students in the department. 20 Students registered for the same and took advantage of industry exposure.
Badve Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is one of the giant auto component manufacturers. It is the largest vendor of TATA Motors Pune and Force Motors Pune. It has 32 plants throughout India. We visited the plant at Khalumbre, Chakan MIDC, Pune. It is manufacturing all variety of two wheeler chassis frame assembly for Force Motors. It was beneficial for students to get the knowledge about advanced techniques of automation, cleaning treatment, surface treatment, heat treatment. Almost, twenty students of Mechanical Engineering Department were attended the visit.
The objective of the event is to get awareness of industrial processes and methodologies to understand manufacturing technology. Participants got information and knowledge regarding production technology. Exposure to actual production processes in industry with the help of process automation for mass production with high accuracy. Networking with industry and opportunities for summer internships and placements.
