Dear Students,

To augment your skills, knowledge, and employability, it is highly advisable to enrol in at least one NPTEL Massive Open Online Course (MOOC/Swayam Course) per semester. This will enable you to upskill yourself, broaden your expertise, and enhance your prospects in the job market.
One of the great advantages of the NPTEL/Swayam courses is the credit transfer option, which can benefit your academic record in multiple ways. Allow me to explain the two methods through which you can transfer the credits earned from the NPTEL/Swayam courses to your marksheet:

If the desired NPTEL/Swayam course is listed under the APW options, you can select that course in APW and appear for the examination. Successful completion of the NPTEL/Swayam examination in this scenario will automatically transfer the credits to your academic records.
If the desired NPTEL/Swayam course is not listed as an APW option, don't worry! You still have the opportunity to enrol in the course. Upon successfully passing the NPTEL/Swayam examination, you can submit the NPTEL/Swayam marksheet, and the additional credits will be transferred to your academic records and marksheet.

To accomplish this please remember:

During the course Enrolment, ensure that you choose "YES" in the dropdown of 'Part of a SWAYAM Local Chapter' and the correct "College Name" as Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Select "Student" as your profession.
While registering for the exam, it is crucial to opt "YES" for the question, 'I hereby agree to share my exam score and certificate with my college.'

The NPTEL/Swayam courses offer you the flexibility to enrol in multiple courses without any enrolment fees. However, if you wish to obtain the certificate and/or credit transfer, it is mandatory to register for the examination by paying a nominal fee of Rs. 1000/- per course.
