About the FDP
The proposed FDP titled ‘Research and Skill Development, NEP 2020’ aims to explore the salient features of NEP 2020 with respect to research and skill development. NEP 2020 is a revolutionary development effected in the education system by the Government of India. In the view of the emergent need to introduce the faculty members with the nitty-gritties of the NEP 2020, the FDP will aim at acquainting the faculty members with the propositions relating to research and skill development as suggested in the NEP 2020.

Research forms an integral part of the education process. For every academician and faculty member research holds an important place. The emphasis of NEP 2020 is on skill development which would in the long run help students in being adept in the vocational world. The proposed FDP will empower faculty members in the areas of research and skill development. It will also provide an in-depth knowledge of Research and Skill Development guidelines presented in the New Education Policy 2020.

Objectives of the FDP:

  1. To facilitate up-gradation of knowledge, skills and thinking abilities of scholars and teachers.
  2. To improve the performance of faculty members in education and research.
  3. To provide in-depth knowledge about NEP 2020
