Amity University Jharkhand organized a session on “Safety and Security Management during crisis hours” on 5th March 2020. The session started with the National Anthem, the lighting of the lamp followed by the felicitation of the guest speaker Mr. M. V. Rao (DG cum Chief Commandant - Fire Service).
The guest speaker educated the students about - Physical security, Personal information/ identity, and Security and cyberspace. Explaining about these three he gave certain tips for safety measures like, "Keep your close ones informed about where you are and for what purpose, avoid going at deserted places, keep the phone switched on and should have security number, keep your personal information safe and do not share it with anybody."
He also talked about certain gadgets that are used for such situations and social media threats like radicalization, traps, criminal liability, getting into toxic relationships. Prof.(Dr.)Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand and Prof.(Dr.)Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director of Amity University Jharkhand graced the occasion with their precious presence.
Mr.PrabhakarTripathi, Registrar of AmityUniversityJharkhand, while giving the vote of thanks said, “Security is the most important thing for anyone. It empowers both money and power. We must thank the one who safeguards us. It is our responsibility to take care of ourselves as well as our near and dear ones, so we must learn all the possible safety measures. "Thus, the session ended with a lot of beneficial information.
