The conference on ‘Green Technology and Sustainable Agriculture’, organized by AUJ at Seminar Hall Campus 2 beganwith the blessings and graceful words of the Vice-President, Amity Group, Mr. Gauravh Gupta. He said that every person should have a gist of knowledge about green food as intentionally or unintentionally it affects everyone. He also gave some data about the inclination of food production in the last decade. The Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand Prof. Dr. Raman Kumar Jhaalso shared his knowledge about green technology and sustainable agriculture.

Dr.DebasisChakrabarty, Principal Scientist and Coordinator ACSIR-NBRI, Lucknow,Mr.Ajay Kumar Srivastava (HOD, St. Xavier), Dr. ShashiBhusan (Officer in-charge of Genetics and Plant Breeding) and S. Padhi (BIT Mesra) were the Chief Guests of this National Conference.

The Director of Amity University Jharkhand Prof. Dr. Ajit Kumar Pandey welcomed all the dignitaries and Chief Guests and declared the conference session open with his worthy words.He acknowledged this technology that has increased the growth of crops and helped farmers. Registrar of Amity University Jharkhand Mr. PrabhakarTripathi also tookgraced the occasion with his presence.

The Guests shared detailed knowledge about arsenic which is present in food crops and damages it.They also spoke about fibre products and sustainable development. The conference ended with a technical session for the students.A Vote of Thanks was given to all the dignitaries, Chief Guests and students for successful conduction of the seminar.
