Amity University Jharkhand in collaboration with Angel Foundation and Rajendra InstituteofMedical Sciencesorganized a Blood Donation Camp on 12.02.2020. The Guest of Honour,Miss. Usha Saroj, Assistant Professor, Rims and Mr. Avneet Singh, Founder of Angel foundation,were felicitated for being a part of the camp.

Prof.(Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director of Amity University Jharkhandmotivated the donors with his words , "Blood is the only thing we cannot create and can only be donated. The importance of blood is that we do not know what will happen to us next and when will we need blood. It was a myth that donating blood is dangerous and we all know that we should donate blood at least once in a year, because it helps not only the needy but ourselves also as new blood cells are made after donating blood."

Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand encouraged all and said "Blood enhances the relationship between the human beings as a whole. Our brain cells become more powerful when we donate blood and fresh blood cells are produced for good functioning of the body. We should donate it with happiness."Mr. PrabhakarTripathi, Registrar of Amity University Jharkhand also added, "Donating blood is the biggest donation to mankind. It is required for the survival of the needy."

More than 150 students and faculties including the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of University, Jharkhand, donated blood in the camp. It was a successful camp which spread the joy of saving a soul.
