The international web conference on Multilingualism, organized by the Amity School of Foreign Languages, was to promote linguistic diversity and cross-cultural exchange. The aim was to encourage the faculty, researchers, and students at Amity Kolkata to value the growing importance of multilingualism through various artistic expressions. The conference also became a virtual platform where the ideas that had been brewing for months about how to honour linguistic diversity could finally be presented to an audience of national and international organizations and universities specialized in teaching foreign languages.

The keynote speaker of the event was Ms. Astrid Wege, Director, Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata and the list of panelists included Ms. Dolon Gupta, Co-Founder of the Business Communication Facilitators Association of India, and Dr. Subhada Kaul, Associate Professor of French at Jamia Milia Islamia University.
