What is the difference between Online Learning and Correspondence mode?
Correspondence Mode of Learning: - In Correspondence mode only Student Study Material (SSM) are provided and the examination is to be written at the nearest center. Online/Offline classes can be offer by paying additional charges.

Online Mode of Learning: - In Online Learning mode we provide E-Books with Online/ Offline classes .

In correspondence we provide “Student Study Material” (SSM) prepared by Amity Faculty
What materials do we get in Online Learning Mode?
Same as Correspondence. The Only difference is that Online Learning Student gets E-Books
Is the material given by Amity sufficient?
Yes, immensely sufficient, it is based on Self Learning Methodology (SLM) being prescribed by University Grant Commission (UGC)
What is Self-Learning Method?
In Self Learning Methodology, self exercises are given at the end of a chapter
Is there any other material available?
Yes, ADDOE provides the provision of the Reference Books. The Student can avail the Reference Books on little extra payment i.e. one time in entire tenure
Do I need to refer to any other books than your SSM and Reference Books?
Our recommendation is “NO”. The Reference Books are very carefully selected on the recommendation of a lead faculty. Thus it is sufficient for a particular programme
Where do I get the Assignments?
All Assignments are available online and submitted online under “Student Zone” Section.
What is an Assignment?
Assignments are important components of a learning programme. It is a self-learning procedure. Assignments are based on entire curriculum

Students are required to do three assignments per subject during each semester i.e. each subject has Three Assignments namely A, B & C

What is the benefit of doing Assignments?
Assignment is a part of the curriculum. It carries a weightage of 30%
Is it mandatory to submit assignments?
Yes, it is. You cannot pass till you complete the assignments
What is grading system in assignment?
Students have to score 30% as passing marks in each assignments as well as Examinations and Aggregate should be 40% * Students should secure a minimum Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) of 5. Students should also secure Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.5 at the end of UG programme and 6 at the end of PG Integrated programme
Qualifying criteria?
To qualify in examination a student must obtain the following Marks.
  • Minimum 30% marks in External Assessment (End Term Examination – ETE)
  • Minimum 30% marks in Internal Assessment (Assignments)
  • Minimum 40% overall aggregate i.e. both Internal Assessment & External Assessment put together

When do I get the Study Materials?
You can get the study materials within 15 days from the deposit of fees.
Will it be sent by courier, post or one has to collect it personally?
In case you are a Delhi and NCR student, you can visit the center selected by you at the time of admission. We post the SSM to out station students

What are PCP Classes?
It is known as Personal Contact Programme (PCP)
How often do I get the classes?
Classes are support of study materials and are offered in 8 to 9 “Sundays” in Six Months
Does Faculty complete entire Syllabus?
Yes, Faculty are trained accordingly to finish the syllabus in stipulated time
What is the duration of each subject?
Approximately Nine Hour classes per subject
Is there any Question Answer session?
Questions can be asked at the end of each class.
Are assignment also solved during the classes?
During the classes you will able to clarify your doubts.
What kind of Faculty lead the class?
Faculty has experienced background with academics and industry.
In case of any feedback required. How do we proceed?
You get a feedback form at the end of every session of a subject.
What if we are not happy with the number of session given per subject?
Faculties are given Course File in which they have to justify the Topic which he/she has to finish it in stipulated time. If it is not sufficient, faculty may recommend for further classes.
What if I am not satisfied with the classes?

When are examinations held?
The examination are conducted twice in a year, i.e. in the month of “June” and “December
When does the result for June examinations come out?
The result of June examinations is displayed in mid of October and for December examinations the result is displayed in Mid-April.
What is the criteria for passing a subject?
You need to score 30% marks in external (examination) and 30% in internal (Assignment) for passing a subject. A cumulative of 40% marks to be secured by the student.
If I score 50% marks in examination, do I consider pass?
No, for passing a subject, submission of assignment is mandatory.
What is the date of submission of assignment?
  1. For January Session: 1st May
  2. For July Session: 1st November
What is SGPA and CGPA?
Students should secure a minimum semester grade point average.
  1. SGPA is Semester Grade Point Average of 5 points
  2. CGPA is Cumulative Grade Point Average of 5.5 at the end of UG programme and 6 points at the end of PG and integrated programme.
How do I see my mark sheet first?
The declaration of marks is displayed on the website. Any student can find the result online by entering his/her Enrollment Number in “student information zone” on the website.

The final result will be available after a month from the declaration of the result.
In case of any problem in marks details, who should we visit / contact?
You should preferably approach your center Head or else Programme Officer or his / her team at the center.
What is the procedure for completing a programme?
As per the existing rules a student is required to complete his/her programme in the stipulated number of years (N years). If for some reason a student is not able to complete the programme, the Chairman-ADDOE is authorized to give extension up to N+ N years. No extension is possible beyond N+N years. If approved, the student can continue with the programme up to N+N years by paying a continuation fee as applicable for every year of extension by DD. DD shall be in favor of “Amity University Uttar Pradesh A/C Online Learning” payable at Noida.
EXAMINATION DATES
I am a working professional, can I get the dates in advance?
For the convenient of the student all important dates are highlighted on the website heading as "Forecast of Important Events".
When do I see the Forecast of Important Events?
Minimum 5 to 6 months in advance.
Is the examination conducted during weekend and week days also?
We prefer weekend but for many subjects it is not possible to conduct examination during weekend.
What is the time of examination?
  1. In June, examinations are conducted in two shifts i.e. 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
  2. In December, the examinations are mostly held in second shift i.e. from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. On Sundays examinations are held in both shifts (Applicable for June & December both).
Do we get previous year question Papers?
Yes, you do. All that you can get on our website in "STUDENT ZONE"
PROJECT AND SYNOPSIS
What is Synopsis?
Synopsis is the mini details of project reports.
Is it mandatory to submit?
Yes it is. As it is equivalent to one subject and sometimes two also.
When is synopsis to be submitted?
It is to be submitted in the last and 2nd last semester, varies from programme to programme
Do we get some Guidelines for project Synopsis?

Yes, we provide classes for the guidelines. In addition to this we also provide a booklet on “Guidelines for Assignment and Project Work

What if my synopsis is not approved?
There is a provision of re-submission of synopsis
How many times do I submit the synopsis in case not approved?
You can avail your N+N years’ time
What is the time of evaluation of Synopsis?
It takes 3 to 4 weeks’ time
PROJECT REPORT
What is Project Report?
Project Report is the detail description of your Project Synopsis
When the project report is to be submitted?
Once the project Synopsis is approved
How many pages does project report were to be?
It is completely up to the student
How much time does it take for evaluation of project report?
3 to 4 weeks
What if my project is disqualified?
You will get another chance to submit up to maximum N+N years
What should be the format of project?
It is described in the “Project Guide Lines
What happens after project work submission?
If you successfully complete your project, you will appear for viva
When is Viva conducted?
Once your project is approved you will be intimated by ADDOE
I stay outside Delhi. How can I come for Viva?
The Viva can be conducted through telephonically or Video Conferencing also
What is the minimum % required for passing the Project Report?
A cumulative of 40% marks to be secured by the student

Are the Online Learning Programme approved by UGC-DEC?
Online Learning programmes are recognized by “University Grants Commission (UGC-DEC)”.
Do we get UGC recognized programmes?
Yes. By virtue of Amity university part all programmes of ADDOE stands recognized
Is your programme requires AICTE approval?
No, as AICTE only approves Technical programmes
Can I write UPSC examination or any competitive examination after doing your programme?

Are the values of the Online Learning certificate and regular certificate are same?

PROVISIONAL ADMISSIONS
I have given my final year exams of graduation and do not have final year Mark sheet/Degree. Can I apply for admissions?
Yes, you can apply if you can provide your final year mark sheet/Degree on below mentioned dates,
  1. For January Session: By 15th April,
  2. For July Session: By 15th October
Can I submit my internet downloaded final year mark sheet for admissions?
No, we accept only the copy of original mark sheet/Degree issued by the university
What if I have not received the final year mark sheet by due date?
Your admission would be considered cancelled or you can provide the final year mark sheet attested by registrar of the university with sign and stamp
EXTENSION
In how many years I can complete my programme enrolled with ADDOE?
Assuming N as the tenure of your course, you would be given an extension of N no. of years more to complete the programme. For example, in case of MBA 2 years you would get 2 more years to complete your course if the same is not completed within 2 years. For this you need to submit an application on the prescribed format at your respective Center
What are the charges of extension of programme?
Charges for extension of each year are Rs. 2000. To be paid as DD in favor of “Amity University UP A/c Online Learning”
MISCELLANEOUS
I want to change my Centre, what is the procedure?
Kindly write an application to Dy. Director – ADDOE for change of Centre and deposit 300 Rs. DD in favor of “Amity University UP A/c Distance Learning
Can I submit my assignments at any place?
No. Kindly submit your assignments online
What is the difference between MBA and PGDBM?
MBA Degree is provided only by a university whereas Post Graduate Diplomas are provided by independent institutions.
What is the meaning of equivalence to MBA course?
Equivalence to MBA degree is given by the Association of Indian universities to the post graduate diplomas of independent institutions.
