Our Vision

  • To function as a model educational institution to achieve academic excellence and create valuable human resource to drive economic growth of the country through food science and technology education.
  • To provide a common platform and vital link between agriculture and industry on global basis through relevant training.
  • To generate and apply scientific knowledge of food science and technology through various food processing techniques for optimal conservation and utilization of nation's food resources.
  • To discover, develop and design next generation food and nutrition concepts meeting the needs of industries and Indian population overcoming malnutrition and addressing the needs of metabolic syndrome (Field to Fork).

Our Mission

To develop the overall personality of students by making them not only 'excellent professionals', but also good individuals, with understanding and regards for 'human values', pride in their heritage and culture, a sense of right and wrong, and a yearning for perfection.
