Amity School of Communication, Amity University Patna organized ‘Amity Film Festival 2.0’ – the two-day mega film festival on 4th & 5th May, 2023. We received more than 300 film submissions in two different themes – ‘Kahani Bihar Ki’ and ‘Open Theme’ from different parts of the country.

 

The film festival was inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha Ji, Minister – IPRD & WRD, Government of Bihar. Respected Gaurav Sir was also present in the inauguration session.

AFF 2.0 was graced with the presence of Ms. Nitu Chandra, the famous Hollywood and Bollywood Actor, Producer and Mr. Satyakam Anand, Bollywood Actor. 

 

AFF 2.0 was widely promoted on social media handles, where all our reels on our official Instagram page received 2,20,766 views till date. This is apart from views from students’, guests, media houses & sponsor pages. 

 

The two-day event had several sessions, where speakers from different fields and background addressed the gathering. The list includes-

• Mr. Kumar Gautam, Photographer & Artist

• Mr. Aishwarya Anand, Founder, Ek Bihari

This film festival had 5 sub-events – SA RE GA MA, TALENT TREASURE, FILM QUIZZARD, SHAAM-E-GHAZAL and the most rocking BATTLE OF BANDS. The sub-events had more than 350 students from 40 prestigious schools ,70 colleges and 26 universities. 

 

Dr. Satyajit Kumar Singh, Director, Ruban Group was the Chief Guest during the valedictory session, where cash prizes, mementos and certificates were given to all the winners and participants of this film festival.  AFF 2.0 ended with the rocking Battle of Bands, where 5 band groups performed, and three of them won cash prizes, trophies and certificates.
