Mr. Surendra Kumar, Former High Commissioner of India to Kenya, India's Permanent Representative to UNEP and UN Habitat, Dean, Foreign Service Institute and Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India delivered lecture during the Amity International Centre lecture series. This was AIE's eighty-first lecture in this series.

Topic for Mr. Surendra Kumar lecture was "Importance of Cultural Diplomacy in Today's World ". Expressing his vast experience as an Ambassdor he said that for survival of any nation in this hard hitting world cultural diplomacy is very important. During the occassion senior officials of Amity Universe and Ritnand Balved Education Foundation were present.
