The purpose of this meet is to spread and share the vast and latest knowledge in the field of solar energy generation and harvesting, in its every possible area, to the scientific industrial community. Through this, every latest finding, research and discovery, policies, commercial prospective can go ahead to our scientific world. Even this conference provide each participated research groups to get excellent platform for their interaction as well as collaboration to any other people of same scientific community.

“Group Discussion – The Future of Solar Power Generation and Energy Harvesting – The Road Map”

Presently, Solar Energy, which includes Power Generation, Thermal Energy Storage systems, Electric Vehicles, etc., are becoming more & more important because of its heavy demand in the public and private sectors.

There are currently many scientists, academicians and technocrats are active in the field of Photovoltaics, off- & on- grid power generation, Energy Storage, Electric Vehicles, etc., in universities, research institutions and industries, around the world. Also, the share of solar energy in the overall power generation and harvesting is growing fast and so are the regulatory and policy changes that support solar / renewable energy. Therefore, it has become more important than ever to keep track and explode the information of changing policies to today’s society.

Along this the research and development in the area of solar energy and harvesting are divided into three major areas: synthesis and characterization of materials; fabrication of laboratory based products/systems; and up-bring novel & innovative products/systems into production level. Therefore, to give a full exposure and new platform to our young scientists and researchers, along with face-to-face discussion with top scientists and industrialist of particular area, this type of special session solely dedicated to Solar Energy – clean power generation, its harvesting and their commercialization aspects. It will be highly beneficial.

Keeping this in view, we have planned to devote a special session only on Solar Power Generation, its Harvesting & their commercialization aspects, “Group Discussion – The Future of Solar Power Generation and Energy Harvesting – The Road Map”.

This will provide a road map to take the R&D upto the production level under the “Make in India” program. In this special session, representatives from Solar Industries, top experts from Ministries and eminent scientist from various corner of the world will participate.
