India's first Tri-Fuel Hybrid concept car
Students of Amity School of Engg. & Technology have designed and developed India’s first Tri-fuel Hybrid Concept Car.

This two-seater Amity Hybrid Car comes with multiple fuel options – Batteries, Auto LPG and Petrol-thereby reducing transportation costs significantly.

The car can run 80-90 kms on batteries on a single charge with the maximum speed of 50 km/hr on batteries and 45 km/hr on engine. With a 5 speed constant mesh gearbox coupled with single cylinder four stroke engine, behind its performance, the car has successfully been tested on over 400 kms of urban roads and also exhibited at the Auto Expo.
India's first 4WD BAJA vehicle
Amity Engineering students have also developed India’s first 4WD BAJA Vehicle. BAJA SAE is a series of widely popular and innovative international competitions that simulate real world engineering challenges.

Using an innovative front suspension design, a 275 cc Lombardini LGA 280 (9 HP) Gasoline engine and 8 Forward and 2 Reverse Gears, the vehicle was the result of 6 months of hard work. It also became the first Indian model to use alloy steel for its chassis for lighter weight and strength, apart from other innovations such as a customised gear-box and aircraft grade aluminium.
The Amity Suitcase Car
Confronted with the challenge of shrinking parking spaces, rising real estate and exploding urban traffic, Amity engineering students have developed a one seater, light weight vehicle that can be folded and packed into a suitcase. Such a feature enables the user to carry the car with them. Suitable for metalled urban roads, this car can be used in campuses, corporate estates, airports and in leisure properties.
The Suitase Car is powered by a two stroke single cylinder gasoline engine. The engine capacity is 49 cc and using an air cooling system. T The engine has a pull type starting mechanism that is operated manually. By this output the car can be travel at a speed of 40 Km/hr.
