 Amity University Jharkhand Organized Quote Writing Competition on the eve of Republic Day

With the aim of inculcating the spirit of patriotism among the youngsters, Amity Institute of English Studies and Research of Amity University, Jharkhand hosted a Quote Writing Competition on the eve of 73rd Republic Day on Tuesday 25th Jan 2022.

The entries included quotes in English and Hindi with nationwide participation of around 60 students from various schools, colleges, and universities.

Ananya from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha bagged the first position in English Quote Writing Competition followed by Ayush Gurung from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi and Priya Das from Government Women’s Polytechnic, Jamshedpur in the second position. Devashree Narayan from AUJ and Kumar Shivam from Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University cliched the third position here.

In Hindi Quote Writing Competition, Priyadarshini Das from AUJ secured the first position followed by Ayushi Choudhary from Sarala Birla School and Ritik Raj from AUJ in the second position. Shivansh Maurya from AUJ and Ashwarya Ralhan from IGNOU bagged the third position respectively.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand stressed on the constitutional values relating with the conscious level. He further highlighted the salient features of the constitution. He said, “The burning desires of our freedom fighters, ideas and thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi influenced the making of our constitution".

The event ended with the vote of thanks by the convener, Assistant Professor of the English Department Miss Ayushi Zina.
