 Amity University Jharkhand hosted a one-day Workshop on Prototype- Process Design and Development

Ranchi, 13/04/2022:  A One Day Workshop on ‘Prototype-Process Design and Development’ was conducted under the aegis of MOE- Institutional Innovation Council (IIC), Amity Institute of Biotechnology and Amity Institute of Information Technology of Amity University, Jharkhand on Wednesday.

It mainly focused on prototype idea generation and designing- how to develop prototype in context with an early model, or release of a product built to test a concept or process for all the students and faculty members of Amity University, Jharkhand.

One of the keynote speakers, Prof. (Dr.) Prabal Kumar Sen, Former Professor & Founder Chairperson, Entrepreneurship Development Centre, XLRI- Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur spoke on product design and development. “India is a rich key in natural and other resources. Jharkhand is also rich in terms of labour resources. About 40% of mineral resources comes from Jharkhand. Unless the resources are not used optimally, a state cannot develop. Entrepreneurship is quite important,” he said.

“India will no longer be poor, if entrepreneurial talent is fostered,” added the XLRI Professor emphasizing on symbiotic relationship.

Another keynote speaker, Dr. Samiran Sur, Assistant Professor, (Management & Business Administration), Aliah University, New Town, Kolkata focused on the core concept of problem solving and ideation. “In the economy the work of entrepreneurs of managers, of scientists, of engineers, and of many others can be seen as processes of problem solving,” he stated.

Adding further he mentioned that a person is confronted with a problem when he wants something and does not know immediately what series of actions, he can perform to get it.

Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University, Jharkhand, Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University, Jharkhand and Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University, Jharkhand conveyed their blessings on this occasion.
