Mr. Naveen Jindal, MP and Industrialist today at Amity Campus, Noida. Inaugurating the festival, Mr. Naveen Jindal said, “In any field, expression is very important and a good psychologist is one who can understand and handle the expression of persons well . He advised students to feel their responsibility towards the Nation and be ready to shoulder this responsibility in case we want country to make better and stronger. Sharing his tips on how to be a good leader, he said, good leader should be good listener, have an ability to win trust of his stakeholders and express his views to the masses.”
Dr. W. Selvamurthy, Chief Controller R&D, DRDO and Guest of Honour remarked, “Our youth has great potential and can bring revolution. Out of one billion population, half of the population is in the creative age. Education is aimed at developing good human being and Psychology helps in making good humans. In education, Psychology plays a very important role, wherein Psychologist can teach the concept of good living, help in getting right person for right job and plays a big role in health care”.
Dr. Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) said, “The knowledge of Psychology Science helps us in knowing ourselves closely enough to turn around our weaknesses into our potential area, thereby increasing each individuals productivity to the benefit of the society at large. Our dreams are big, encompassing not just the issue of raising productivity through individual understanding but also training individuals to lead happy, stress free, and balanced lives. With this idea in mind, the Institute has been setup first to train all the Amity students in the area of Psychology Science and thereafter reaching out to the corporate, NGOs, Schools and the Society at large.”
The Seminar on the topic “Exploring The Diverse” brought together eminent personalities in the field of psychology including Dr. Binod Kumar, Professor (OB&HR), FORE School of Management; Gen Vinod Sehgal, Freelancer, Expert on Global Government; Prof (Dr.) Aruna Bruta, Clinical Pyschologist; Farida Vahidi, Ministry of External Affairs, Bahai’s etc.
The evening closed with enthralling fashion show by the students of Amity. During the three day festival, Psychology Quiz, Singing Competition, Choreography Theme “Human Emotions”, Debate: Let’s Agree to Disagree Topic: “Social Transition: A cause of erosion of Human Values”, Dramatics Theme “Sparks of Humour”, Face Painting Theme “Coloured thoughts”, Collage Making Theme “Freedom of Expression” and Foot Loose!!! Let’s Rejuvenate are organized to make it a memorable event.
