“Meditation brings wisdom, lack of meditation leaves ignorance”, said Gautam Buddha. Keeping Buddha’s words in mind, Amity University, Jharkhand organized a “3-Day Workshop On Meditation For Young Adults”, with a motive to guide students on stress management.

“Happiness is our default setting. It is our birthright”, said Mr. Manoj Tiwary, Managing Director, Heartfulness Group, the Chief Guest of the event. In his lecture, he stressed on the need to be happy and to keep away any form of depression.

“Meditation is the best medium to relax and rejuvenate ourselves”, said Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Amity University, Jharkhand, Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Jha. In his address to the students, he also showcased the efforts of the institution in making their life stress-free. Respected Director Sir, Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Pandey said that meditation is the only way to improve our attitude, while respected Registrar Sir, Mr. P.K. Tripathi, said that practice makes us perfect. So, we should consistently meditate in order to keep ourselves stress-free.

The students actively engaged themselves in the in the several meditation tasks performed during the workshop. The workshop was really a beneficial one and will go a long way in shaping the young minds of Amity Jharkhand.
