A student whose visa gets rejected or who does not meet the required minimum academic qualifications will not be able to continue studies abroad in the Partner University.

On Campus and off campus accommodation facilities are available in India and abroad at additional cost. Location wise details are shared with students and booked well in advance before they go abroad. Average accommodation charges outside India typically range between 8-9 lacs per annum.

Other than tuition fees student has to take care of accommodation, food, travel, insurance, visa & other miscellaneous expenses.

Airfare and Visa depend on the country of choice. Airfare also varies depending on timing & advance planning such that a ticket from India to USA may cost as low as Rs. 30,000/- & may go up to as high as Rs. 1.25 lakhs as well for economy class.

Yes, for all countries and all programs students are allowed to work part time for minimum 20 hrs. per week along with their studies. They can easily manage their living expenses with their part time earnings.

Yes, Students get OPT for maximum of three years if they go for minimum two years education.

Yes, complete placement related assistance is being provided by foreign partner Universities starting from grooming the students to helping them in making their CV to short listing companies to identifying opportunities for part time jobs.

On successful completion of the credits to earn at Amity, students are eligible for the award of a suitable certificate / diploma / post graduate diploma depending on the duration of stay & level of study at Amity.

While a student is free to withdraw from taking a lateral transfer abroad, Amity does not permit students to change their courses after taking admission as per our policy. However, applications may be considered on a case to case basis depending on exceptional circumstances such as rejection of visa, wherein a specially constituted committee may recommend that the student be allowed to continue studies at Amity itself.

Student has to clear all his backlogs before applying for the transfer to any foreign University.

A valid Passport will be required at the time of applying for visa.

Yes, we will assist student how to apply for passport and will give advice on what documents are required for the same.

Yes, Amity along with the local representative of the Foreign Partner Universities guides all students for documentation and visa process.

Visa is mandatory for going abroad. However, under exceptional circumstances where in spite of best efforts visa gets rejected, a specially constituted committee may recommend that the student be allowed to continue studies at Amity itself.

Yes, student can choose their own accommodation.

After completing their set part of program at Amity, student is allowed to apply for the refund of their security deposit

AIU give equivalence certificates to the students who get degrees from Foreign Universities which make them eligible to apply for any Govt. job.
