At AMIMUN, we strive to engage our delegates via education, information sharing and active dialogue/debate as our strongest ally in helping you learn and communicate. We are dedicated to the maintenance of a wholesome environment that supports academic excellence, independent thought, and active participation.

Hi, I am Talha, I was a part of AMIMUN from 2013-2017. I am currently working as a Consultant in Ernst and Young. AMIMUN was a great learning experience for I. Back in the day when I was a part of the Delhi MUN circuit, people used to look forward to AMIMUN and the quality of debates and the innovative committees that AMIMUN had. I was a part of the organising committee and the secretariat from 2014 to 2017. I had the best time organising AMIMUN, also i was blessed to have a good team under me. I hope Rohan and his team deliver the exceptional experience that AMIMUN has always strived to deliver. I am sure AMIMUN will break records this year and will continue to do so in the coming years. I wish Rohan and his team all the luck and hope when he closes the AMIMUN conference with the traditional gavel banging, everybody would be proud of him and he would set a benchmark for the years to come.

With the world becoming increasingly globalised, MUNs are the perfect platform for the youth to inculcate a global mindset. The leaders of tomorrow will be those who are aware of what's happening in the world and can put their heads together to challenge the set ways of thinking and emerge with novel solutions.
Therefore, MUN as a public speaking activity enriches and nurtures individuals by providing them with the space to stage their opinions. It builds up the courage and the enthusiasm to put forth creatively diplomatic ideas for the committees to ponder and debate upon. As a model of United Nations simulation, MUNs today are the grandest version that is producing the future global leaders, diplomats, and change-makers in society. MUNs have thus empowered the young generation as a tool to be expressive and communicative about the global agendas taking a toll on the world.
AMIMUN is a prestigious conference grounded in the spirit of international cooperation and its committees always bring attention to issues that require collective action. I am certain that all participants at AMIMUN will leave with invaluable learnings and experiences, and hopefully, some new friendships. Wishing a warm welcome to all delegates and the best of luck to the Secretariat and the Organizing Team.

It takes a lot of courage to take the stage and present one's views in front of one's peers, share one's ideas, and push forward with zeal for what one believes in, and yet delegates are able to display such blatant courage whenever the opportunity arises. These reenactments of the United Nations Diaspora have the same effect on the brain of a young ambassador as a way to deal with strategy and the assurance of global support for peacekeeping. The Amity Model United Nations is a wonderful opportunity for young people to see how the world works and how it deals with its troubles.
During my tenure at AMIMUN, I was surrounded by a community of capable individuals that consistently improved upon their wide array of abilities. As Director General, I had the honour of watching this group of individuals come together and add to the long legacy we were a part of. To now be a part of the Advisory Board this year, gives me the opportunity to bear witness once again to the magic that takes place behind the well assembled conference. As a member of the Advisory Board and the AMIMUN'24 team, I am confident that AMIMUN will be a fine demarcation of the Delegates' capacity to influence the debate, and that the Delegates will benefit from this exceptional conference.
Throughout the history of AMIMUNs, each iteration has been a step above the last, with each team learning and improving on the insight passed down. I have unshakeable faith in this year’s team as well, knowing without doubt that the Organising Committee is led by an exceptional Secretariat. For all these reasons, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to the next instalment of this prestigious conference.

AMIMUN has always advocated for the importance of Model UNs, believing in their ability to effect tangible change at the grassroots level and harnessing the true potential of insightful debates in shaping the leaders of tomorrow. I am extremely proud of the historic heights attained by this prestigious conference.
As someone who used to be a part of the team that works tirelessly behind the scenes to put on this event, I am in awe of the unwavering dedication shown by each and every member of the organising team, who have not let unfavourable circumstances, such as the pandemic, deter their efforts in putting on a Convention like no other. From the theme of the conference, to the wide array of agendas that are incredibly pertinent to the current global atmosphere, the Secretariat and EB has already done their best to lay the groundwork towards constructing a productive conference.
I am truly honoured to serve on the advisory board of one of the country's largest MUNs, with students from all disciplines devoting their time to solving pressing issues. The conference, which is rich in experience and led by some of the best debaters on the circuit, aims to bring out the best in everyone involved and promotes the values of the United Nations while working toward a better future. Any delegate, reporter or caricature artist is certain to benefit from the rich discussion and open atmosphere AMIMUN provides, allowing individuals to step out of their comfort zones and grow as delegates.
Through working with my colleagues, I endeavour to make certain we reach the goals we have set and create a safe learning environment for all. I extend my best wishes and support to the entire team for the upcoming AMIMUN 2024 conference.

The Amity International Model United Nations Conference is one of the biggest student-led conferences of Amity University, Noida. It has made an indelible mark for itself in the Indian MUN Circuit and Asia-Pacific MUN Circuit as among the best MUNs to attend in the region. Over the last 11 years, AMIMUN has set a benchmark in terms of the quality of debate as well as the quality of its execution. AMIMUN has a long list of achievers in various fields who have attended and learned so much from it. It is able to proudly boast of providing its participants with the best opportunity any MUN conference could offer.
My attachment with the AMIMUN dates back to 2018 when I participated as a delegate of the 8th edition of AMIMUN, which inspired me to one day reach the rings of leadership within it. I am blessed to have had the honour and privilege to hold the post of the Secretary-General of the first e-edition AMIMUN Conference in 2021. I have gained so much from the conference as a delegate and also as a Secretariat member. I owe AMIMUN a great deal for the organisational skills I possess today.
I am glad to know that AMIMUN is back with the hybrid mode conference from 20th to 22nd January 2024. The Secretariat this year has chosen a very apt theme for the circumstances we are encountering at hand - "Via Ad Mollitiam: Towards Hope, Resilience and Shared Sovereignty". The theme is yet another step towards our commitment to making this conference more than just a national affair and increasing its international acclaim. Via Ad Mollitiam is a declaration of hope in times of strife because, in this day and age, hope is perhaps the most important virtue in constructing a world of peace. It is only through resilience built through bonds made between individuals from the world over that great change can be driven. Our theme perfectly encapsulates the meaning of shared sovereignty and a sense of shared responsibility for the world in which we all live.
Our world today faces many challenges and the disparity between the accessibility to rights of all individuals regardless of economic factors, age, gender or race is greater than ever. The global community together may fall short of their own Goals set to be met by 2030, therefore it is very important that young people like us come forward and discuss global issues to understand them. An MUN is not just a platform of speaking but of in-depth research and analysis of the agendas at hand, therefore the more awareness we become of global issues the more prepared we are as a race to systematically solve such issues. I, therefore, invite young people throughout the globe to come and be part of the AMIMUN 2024.
I give my heartiest best wishes to Mr Rohan Nagpal (Secretary General of AMIMUN’23) and his team to make this instalment a grand success and to break the barriers and benchmarks set by previous conferences.

I began my journey as an Organising Committee member in AMIMUN’20, worked my way up to USG Delegate Affairs in AMIMUN’21, and eventually led last year’s conference as the Secretary General. It has been both an honour and a privilege to have served at the helm of what turned out to be our biggest edition and one of Asia’s largest MUN conferences. It has taught me a lot and I am forever indebted to the institution for providing me with a platform to become a better leader and person. AMIMUN is a place that I will always remember with the fondest memories.
With the resolve of creating an unparalleled platform for incredible young minds across the world, I am sure AMIMUN’23 will encourage delegates to engage in deliberations that are stimulating and yield incredible as well as viable solutions to the concerns raised in our globally significant agendas.
I am convinced this edition will add yet another feather in the cap that is the legacy of AMIMUN and all those who have been associated with it throughout the years. I have faith in this year’s team; it is, with their sheer dedication and hard work, that we present yet another edition of AMIMUN. I wish the entire Secretariat and the Organising Committee the very best of luck. I hope that each one of you walks away with a better version of yourself.

Model United Conferences are the most widespread and actively participated activity today. Laying the fundamental foundations of public speaking, discipline of maintaining principles and strong research to voice out one's opinions on the world's leading issues like peacekeeping and human rights. It is not just a clash of ideas and cluster of young people trying to bring a revolution, but a grand mass of noble thoughts and directive principles to make the world a better place to live in, a better way for governments and organisations to function and crack the global problems with immense and intense knowledge and allyship. Therefore, MUN as a public speaking activity enriches and nurtures individuals by providing them with the space to stage their opinions. It builds up the courage and the enthusiasm to put forth creatively diplomatic ideas for the committees to ponder and debate upon. As a model of United Nations simulation, MUNs today are the grandest version that are producing the future global leaders, diplomats and change makers in the society. MUNs have thus empowered the young generation as a tool to be expressive and communicative about the global agendas taking a toll on the world.
Walking on the same lines, the Amity International Model United Nations with its magnificent history of the past 12 years is now all set to be gloriously established once again in hybrid mode for its 13th edition. Through these years AMIMUN has built itself as a conference that is awaited by students across the world throughout the year. It has imprinted its mark in the domestic as well as the international circuit. With the most simulations of the UN Committees and the most experienced Executive Board, AMIMUN always outshines its previous editions. Having served for three long years in the team in various positions and finally as the Charge D'Affaires in the 11th iteration, I have had the privilege to watch AMIMUN build and grow and how much it transformed me into a strong level headed individual. It has been a hub for individuals to come together and work as one unit creating a legacy of a lifetime. It was overwhelming to be a part of something so huge and how people unknown to each other became a team, a family to me.
After the success of the previous hybrid session in 2023 AMIMUN will once again be connected online for a massive virtual experience of students. With each edition being better than the previous one it makes me elated and convinced that this edition will be majestic to provide the best hospitality and platform to the young diplomats participating globally. I heartily congratulate the Secretary General, Ms. Gauri Sareen and her wonderful team for doing the impossible and adding glory to the history of AMIMUN. It is thus, an honour for me to extend my warm welcome to all at the 13th edition of Amity International Model United Nations, 2024.

Amity International Model United Nations has always been more than a conference to me, it has been a family that has played a huge role in making me the person I am today. It makes me so proud to say that I was small part of this larger than life institution. Under the guiding light of our esteemed Chairpersons, the Secretariat and the Organising Committee have carried forward this legacy utmost honour and prestige, their handwork showcasing every individual’s dedication to the cause of Peace through Action. I would like to wish my heartfelt congratulations to the entire team for doing justice to the AMIMUN conference and everything it stands for and the best of luck for pulling off one of the largest conferences in the circuit.
