The Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT) was established in the
year 2024, with an approved intake of 180 students. At present, the School of AIIT offers both
undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The institution offers a variety of postgraduate and
undergraduate programmes to cater to the growing demand for expertise in technology and computing.
The two-year
postgraduate programmes include the Master of Computer Applications (MCA), which
focuses on advanced computing, software development, and IT applications.
The faculty members are involved in different research domains such as
Hybrid [CPU-GPU] Computing, Data Science, Network Security, Cloud Computing, and Data Mining.
Disciplined environment, conducive to Teaching-Learning, with rigorous academic monitoring is
maintained. Many best practices are followed in the school, including Project-based Learning,
Partial Delivery of Courses, Value-Added Courses, etc., to facilitate a better Teaching-Learning
environment.
AIIT curriculum covers areas like Cyber Security, Malware, Multimedia, Web
Designing, Algorithm Design, Database Management, Data Warehousing, Artificial Intelligence,
among others. AIIT, with its excellent infrastructure and centrally air-conditioned labs with
the latest software technology, trains students into qualified, efficient computer
professionals.
