Amity University Patna became the parent institution of the English language Teachers’ Association of India ( ELTAI) with 36 members from different institutions of Bihar in the month of September 2018. The formal inauguration of the Patna chapter was to be done and to reap multiple benefits of the event the inauguration was clubbed with a National Seminar and was planned to be organized with the BJMC department. As English Communication Skill has a multi -disciplinary reach, the sub themes were prepared to approach various streams like Journalism, Management, Engineering, Technology and Humanities. The event turned up to be a grand success in various aspects like number of participation , quality papers , no of participant institution, creation of positive brand image and creating a buzz around to make the event talk of the town . Around 200 participants made contribution in the form of paper presentation or panel discussion . on both the days presented papers on various related themes or discussed panelists . 90 papers were presented on day one and 11 panels (of eight panelists each) participated in the Panel Discussion.

Objective(s) of the Event (Point-wise)

  • Inauguration of ELTAI Patna Chapter
  • To stimulate the academic environment for promotion of quality in teaching and learning and meeting one of the visions and missions of NAAC.
  • Bringing the main stakeholders (students and the teachers) of the teaching and learning fraternity at a common platform to discuss the challenges of the 21st century classrooms and understand the best practices.
  • Creating a brand image of our university and spreading awareness about our strong presence in the remotest place
  • Increasing footfall of the students and parents.
