Mr. Pawan Goenka, President Mahindra & Mahindra
taking a close look at the 4 WD BAJA Vehicle

It was the result of incessant diligence and 6 months of hard work of the students of Amity School of Engineering & Technology that helped them clear the gruelling selection process of SAE. ASET was the only one among 27 reputed institutes to design & develop a 4 Wheel Drive - India's first BAJA all-terrain vehicle!

Well appreciated by industry veterans, motor enthusiasts, sponsors and the media, the roadster is more than just an off-road recreational 4 wheeler. Featuring an innovative front suspension design, a 275 cc Lombardini LGA 280 (9 HP) Gasoline engine and 8 Forward and 2 Reverse Gears, the vehicle is also the first Indian model to use alloy steel for chassis.

METTLE, the enthusiastic team of ASET won the prestigious Chairman's Award by Mr. Pawan Goenka, President, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and SAE INDIA, and Mr. Narain Karthikeyan for its outstanding efforts.
