AIDT
Amity Institute of Defence Technology, Amity University was established in the year 2021 introducing the M.Tech and Ph.D programmes in Defence Technology followed by Integrated B.Tech & M.Tech Programmes in Defence Technology in the year 2022. The curriculum of these programmes has been jointly designed by DRDO and AICTE. The programmes offer seven specializations: AI & Cyber Security, Combat Vehicles, Aerospace Technology, Naval Technologies, Communication Systems and Sensors, Directed Energy Weapons and High Energy Materials.
The highlight of Defence Technology Programmes (M.Tech + Integrated) is that the subjects during First year of M.Tech Defence Technology and till Fourth year for Integrated Defence Technology are taught by DRDO scientists, Defence Veterans and renowned Academicians at Amity University, NOIDA . The curriculum spells out a compulsory requirement of Project Dissertation in 2nd Year (3rd & 4th semester) and 5th Year (9th & 10th semester) for the respective programmes in DRDO Lab / Defence Industry.
