Collaborations and Trainings/Visits

Amity Institute of Pharmacy (AIP) has a collaboration with Korean Society of Ginseng, South Korea for doing Research activities. We have received a research grant of Rs. 3,00,000 (50,00,000 KRW) from this society to carry out our research project based on Novel nanocarriers formulation of Anti-inflammatory drug The project is currently in progress since December 2023. We have recruited one Project Fellow to do the same project.

Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Amity University, Haryana, has signed an MoU with Dr. Jeanine Giarolla Vergas , Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil. The duration of the MoU is from 22.06.22 till 22.06.27. The project is intended to develop novel molecules for the treatment of a rare tropical disease, Leishmania. So far, since 22.06.23, two publications (listed in Web of Science) have been done, and further research is in the pipeline.

AIP has signed MoUs with various industries and academic institutions such as Lifecare Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Biodeal Pharmaceuticals, Afflatus Pharmaceuticals, R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc. Also, we have signed an MoU with International organization ‘Universidad De Sau Paulo, Brazil’.

Advisory Board Meet:

The Industry academic advisory board meet took place on Sep. 26, 2024.

Prof. Satish Sardana, Director AIP, AUH, introduced the members of the panel and set the agenda of the meeting. Dr. Upendra Nagaich (Chair) emphasized the importance of industry and academia interaction and how to bridge the gap between the two. He also stressed the importance of skill development amongst the pharmacy students. Dr. Neha Arora, CEO – Auriga Research, highlighted the impact of quality education and training on the employability prospects of pharmacy students

The meeting concluded with thanks from Prof. Sardana wherein he acknowledged the inputs of industry experts and explored the prospects of arranging more such meetings in future.
