International Research Collaboration

  • AIP has signed a prestigious Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Jeanine Giarolla Vargas, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of São Paulo, Brazil (valid from 22 June 2022 to 22 June 2027).
  • This international research project focuses on the development of novel molecules for the treatment of Leishmaniasis, a rare tropical disease. The collaboration has already resulted in two research publications indexed in the Web of Science, with further studies currently underway—reflecting AIP’s growing footprint in global pharmaceutical research.

National Academic & Industry Partnerships

AIP has also established strong national collaborations to promote advanced research, doctoral studies, and industry-linked outcomes:

  • Biodeal Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Noida - An MoU signed in September 2021 has supported doctoral research, leading to two research publications in 2023.
  • R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research, Shirpur, Maharashtra Signed in February 2025 and valid till February 2028, this collaboration has already resulted in three research publications in 2025, strengthening academic research and inter-institutional learning.

Industry Advisory Board (IAB)

The Industry Advisory Board (IAB) of the Amity Institute of Pharmacy has been constituted to strengthen industry–academia integration and ensure the continued relevance and quality of academic programmes. Comprising experienced professionals and industry leaders, the IAB provides advisory inputs on curriculum enrichment, pedagogy, emerging industry trends, and best practices, enabling students to develop industry-relevant skills and professional competence. Through collaborative engagement with faculty and academic leadership, the Board offers insights that support experiential learning, internships, projects, and exposure to global practices, thereby enhancing student employability and facilitating a smooth transition from academic learning to professional practice.
