Local buses from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGAI) / Railway station.

SUBJECT: FLOW CHART & SEATING PLAN - BHARAT MANDAPAM CONVENTION CENTRE

Dear Graduand,

This is further to our invitation sent vide mail dated 26 December 2025.

REGISTRATION AT THE VENUE IS NOT PERMITTED.

Appended are the details on how to reach Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, along with the layout plan of the Plenary Hall.

The detailed sitting plan, movement plan, food distribution plan, and sitting plan for Audi 2 are also attached (Encls 1 to 4) for your information.

  1. Entry for all Graduands and their parents arriving by metro or other public conveyance is from Gate #10.
  2. Graduands and their parents must carry a Government ID (Aadhaar / DL / Voter Card).
  3. Graduands arriving by their own conveyance shall take the tunnel from Mathura Road and alight at basement parking entry – Level 1 (paid parking).
  4. The registration counters for all graduands are located on Level 2 (East Side). Signage has been placed for easy access.
  5. After registration and collection of gowns, colour-coded wristbands, and food packet coupons, graduands must proceed to Level 4 for seating at the Plenary Hall.
  6. Access from Level 2 to Level 3 is via escalators, and from Level 3 to Level 4 via staircase or elevators.
  7. Awardees (PhD, Gold, Trophies, Baljeet Shastri Award, GBCI & Dr. Ashok Chauhan's Cash Awardees) must enter Plenary Hall (Level 4) from Gate No. 1.
  8. Graduands and parents of ASAS, AIB, AIISH, ASCO, ASLA, ASAP, AID, ASET, AIIT and AIP must enter from Gate No. 2 & 3.
  9. Graduands and parents of ABS, ASC, ACC, ASDT, ASFA, ASL, ALS, ACON, AMS, ASEES, ASH, AIBAS and AICP must enter from Gate No. 4, 5 & 6.
  10. Group photographs for PhD Awardees, Gold Medal Awardees, Shri Baljeet Shastri Awardees, GBCI & Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan's Cash Awardees and Alumni will be taken in the Plenary Hall.
  11. After the convocation, the National Anthem will be played, followed by the Academic Procession exiting from Level 3 (West Side).
  12. Lunch exit and re-entry for degree distribution will be from Level 4 and Audi 1 (Level 2).
  13. PhD Awardees must return their gowns after the ceremony and may leave after lunch.
  14. All students must return gowns at the Registration Desk and exit via the same route used for entry.
  15. Pictorial diagrams will be displayed at key points within the Bharat Mandapam premises.
