SDG-5: Gender Equality

The University programmes, courses, policies and overall Governance is playing a prominent role in eliminating gender discrimination and promote access to education to women. The ERP platform at ensures systematic tracking of women applications, acceptance and graduation rate which helps in taking suitable action to improve the enrolment of women. Exclusive outreach programmes to promote girl education are conducted in various schools in the local and outside vicinity of the University. Scholarship schemes, mentoring and counselling support system is facilitating in promoting the welfare and mental wellbeing of women. The University has high percentage of women participation on senior academic and administrative positions reflecting University commitment to gender equality. Maternity & Paternity policy, Childcare facility, non-discrimination policies versos women and Transgender are also existing. Every year, the University celebrates International Women Day and facilitate the women achievers of the University.
