The UNIPHOS PRO Gas Detector was procured under the DBT-funded project entitled “Rapid Biodegradability Test In Aerobic Conditions For Biodegradable Plastics" BT/PR48087/BCE/8/1774/2023”
This Detector was utilized for Kinetic studies of end gas generation and their relationship with generated markers. Wherein determination of the kinetics of liberated CO2 gas under ASTM conditions via measuring using CO2 analyser and Establishment of kinetic equation indicating relation with end CO2 gas.
Aerobic biodegradation of biodegradable plastic was evaluated by monitoring the production of carbon dioxide (COâ‚‚) under controlled composting conditions, simulating the composting environment.
