Day 2
 
After successful completion of Day 1 of the FDP on IMAE, the second day of the event started with a welcome speech by Program Leader of MAE, Dr. Pravin Kr Singh. The event got blessed with speech of Respected VC sir Dr. Raman Kr. Jha Sir and Program Coordinator Dr. B. Samnta Sir. 
The first Session started with welcome of our first Keynote speaker Dr. A. P. Tiwari Sir by Dr. Rahul. Dr. Tiwari Sir is working as a Professor at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology. The topic of the session was “Electro discharge Machining for Micro Product Fabrication”. The aim of the session was to start the FDP with the understanding of Micro machining processes in detail. 
The second lecture was delivered by Dr. Sudhanshu Ranjan Das , Associate Professor at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Odisha on the topic “Machining and Machinability of Hard-to-cut materials using new generation cooling Lubrication strategy”. During the session, the importance of machining of hardened steel and machinability processes, sustainable machining by hard turning and many more related topics on machining and machinability were discussed. 
The Third Lecture of the day was delivered by Dr. Pramod Kumar Sharma, Post Doctoral Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Dr. Sharma is actively involved in teaching and research since last 15 years and his currently working on Energy Engineering, Machine design, manufacturing Technology. During the session, sir focussed on the Challenges and Opportunities of wind power generation. He very well described a typical wind farm design parameter, factors for the study of complex wind farm and many more related topics on wind power generation. The Vote of Thanks is given by Miss Richa Sinha.  
The Day 2 of the FDP was concluded with thanking all the participants and Eminent Speakers for making the second day of the event successful. The sessions were of great importance and the participants were highly benefitted.
