Amity Students mark World Radio Day in Ranchi University 's Community Radio Khanchi
The BA(J&MC) sixth semester students of Amity School of Communication, Amity University Jharkhand visited the community radio station of Ranchi University, Radio Khanchi 90.4 FM as part of their industrial visit under the mandate of Institution’s innovation Council, Amity University Jharkhand and extension activity on Friday with the blessings of Amity University Jharkhand’s Revered President & Chancellor.
The Sr. Vice President of Amity Education group, Mr. U. Ramachandra as well as Mr. Gauravh Gupta , Vice President , Amity Education group conveyed their best wishes on this occasion.
Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand expressed his good wishes to the students.
The visit of the students was accompanied by the Director of Radio Khanchi, Dr BP Sinha, RJ Ms Vaishanavi and IT Expert Mr. Pradeep Mishra alongwith the HOD Mr. Sudhir Kumar and Assistant Professor, Ms Sumedha Chaudhury of ASCO, Amity University Jharkhand.
Students learnt the exposure of onsite working and workable. They also gained the knowledge about the systems and the techniques which are being used by the Radio station such as, DAD software, Transmitters, Compound and dynamic mics, etc.
Director Dr. BP Sinha also encouraged students and enlightened them on the importance of industrial visits.
