The CBSE Board awards Merit Certificates in each subject to the top 0.1 % of candidates passing that subject, provided that they have passed the examination as per the pass criteria of the Board. We are proud of our first class X batch 2009 wherein two students were honored with the merit certificates for achieving 100% in Mathematics.

The two member representatives attended ‘Model United Nations’ at Goldberg, Germany from 16th to 24th October 2009 where they represented their school in the sessions of the General Assembly. The Indian delegation comprising of Amity students was declared the best delegation whereas Mayank Tiku was judged the best delegate in the committee

Three students of class-IX: Harsh Nagar, Manjot S. Bhatia and Shivam Garg notched the first runner up title and were selected for the inter-national level competition held by Techtronics Education India Ltd at South Korea.

Educator’s Exchange Programme undertaken by AIS,Sec 6 ,Vasundhara with a view to offering our students, an international exposure and to foster a global perspective , was furthered when Mr. Geoffrey John David Prestige ,(Head of Department(Geography) Tauhara College,Taupo,New Zealand) came to Amity as a visiting faculty from New Zealand.

INTER SCHOOL SCIENCE PROJECT COMPETITION(‘Kabaad se Jugaad’) BY TERI - a closely contested regional level science model making competition 09/04/2010 - Deergha Sharma and Adhar Sachdeva of class IX clinched III position.
NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION (NTSE) - Swaraj Bose ,Shraya Singh and Khushboo Sharma of Class VIII cleared the stage one exam in 2010.
3RD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF YOUNG RESEARCHERS OF NATURAL SCIENCE – held from 24th April to 27th April 2010 in Nicosia ,Cyprus - Two of our class IX students ,Prapti Alok and Shruti Mahajan got the honour of participating. This project was on Hospital Waste Management with special reference to value recovery.

All India painting competition organized by the NTPC - Rs. 50000 cash prize for Jyoti Nagpal of Class V - bagged 2nd position. The prize was given by Minister of Power, Govt. of India in a special function at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 14th of December 2009.

On the Spot Painting Competition organized by NTPC – Jyoti Nagapal got first position as she coloured the world with multiple hues in On the Spot Painting Competition. She received a cash prize of Rs.10,000/-, one Solar lamp and a T-shirt with cap.
Animal Action Week2009 - Atmaja Chowdhury of class VIII splendidly portrayed the plight of endangered Royal Bengal Tigers and effectively enhanced awareness among the people. Her painting was adjudged as selective best and also painted in the form of Greeting card by the organization. Furthermore, she has been selected for participating at a national level contest on analogous topic.
Inter-school Painting Competition organized by Deep Memorial School - Jyoti Nagpal of class-V and Suhail Goyal of class-VIII painted the world in their shades and came back victorious with the second.
Food Fest organized by Deep Memorial School - The young chef, Shubhi Singh of class-VIII displayed her expertise in cooking and secured the first position.
A Himalayan Bird Counting Camp organized by National Bal Bhawan - Five students from the school all belonging to class-VII & VIII namely: Harshit Singh, VIII; Akshat Chandak, VIII; Shreya Gupta of class VIII; Bhavya Mehta of class VII; Ruchi Avtar of class VII, got selected to attend the regional camp at Dehradun.
