The Amity School of Film and Drama (ASFD) offers training in Acting, Body Movement, Voice and Speech Training, Playwriting, Screenwriting, Film Producing, Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Sound Design, Animation Filmmaking, VFX, Comics, Game Design and Pre-visualization. The emphasis is on training aspirants to become proficient in all areas of Screen Arts – Acting for Screens or Theater, live action Filmmaking and Animation for all kinds of screens – from Movie Theaters, to Television to the emerging Digital Screens and even Mobile Phone Screens.

The Programs offered are calibrated to create professionals who can step on to the Stage, a Film Set or a Production House straight out of their classroom.

The Curricula and Syllabi are globally benchmarked against the best the World offers. All over the World, best practices are being accepted in the processes and expertise that go in to creating Screen Arts since International Collaborations are the need of present times. ASFD, thus, equips students in such global best practices.

All faculty of ASFD are working professionals with years of experience in the fields of Acting, Filmmaking and/or Animation Filmmaking. Such a variety allows students to interact with multiple facultywith diverse expertise and strengths that help students learn from real life experiences as also via diverse industry-aligned Courses under the tutelage of faculty and distinguished Industry Experts.
