Unlocking Personality through Smart Fashion
ASFT, AUC organized a Guest Lecture on “Unlocking Personality through Smart Fashion” by Ms M P Doshi, Fashion Expert, Raipur on 8th August 2018 in Fashion School. The speaker threw light on the correlation between fashion and personality, fashion psychology, impact of Indian tradition and culture on fashion and social responsibility.
She emphasized the fact that besides clothing, ornaments, accessories, and make up, fashion also includes the mannerism and behavior of the personality and manners imply something deeper than fashion; it helps to create an image of ‘selves’ through the garments, accessories and other aspects of lifestyle.
The speaker asserted that fashion plays an increasingly important role in an individual’s life because it is considered as a means of self-expression. The event was attended by twenty four students, faculty and staff of ASFT.
