Joy of Learning Science through Experiments
Physics is branch of science in which we study nature and properties of matter and energy. To understand it student must be aware of basic concept of Physics. The aim of the workshop is to focus light on basic ideas of Physics which will help the students to understand the subject clearly. Looking at this very fruitful aims, Amity School of Applied Sciences, AUM has taken a lead to organize a workshop on “Joy of learning Science through experiments”.
The workshop was held on 11th September 2018. The experiments were demonstrated by Prof. Bhagwan Chakradeo, Ret. Professor of Physics, CHM College, Ulhasnagar, Thane, Maharashtra. Many students from different institutes/schools and few faculties have been actively participated in the event.
? By organizing this workshop we intend to clear the basic concepts of Physics to the students which are difficult to visualize and understand.
? To develop interest among the students for basic science research.
? To understand importance of experiments in Physics to prove the laws of Physics.
A successful attempt has been made in clear the basic concepts of Physics to the students. Students from various disciplines of science and engineering came together and learned about the recent trends in basic sciences. We are very happy that we were able to provide Amity students a platform to interact with distinguished professor from CHM college Ulhasnagar, Mumbai.
