Students and faculty also paid tribute to the martyrs, who laid their lives for the nation’s peace and security.

The performances consisted of solo and group activities, portraying the lives of soldiers and the tough choices they make while staying away from their family. The cultural activities included dance, skit, poem recitation and more. Dr. Anand Paharia, Assistant Professor, ASCO (Amity School of Communication) in his address stressed the vital role played by vigilant Indian Army personnel to keep our country safe. The program concluded with a beautiful and inspiring street play (nukkad natak). The event was attended by the university’s faculty, staff and students.
