International Conference hosted by Amity Law School, Kolkata

Amity Law School, Kolkata in collaboration with Jorhat Law College, Assam conducted a two-day long international conference titled Convergence of Intellectual Property Rights on Mitigating Climate Change towards a Green Economy. A transformative journey towards sustainability, the conference brought together the issues of the legal and intellectual domains of climate change. The chief guests Shri Soumitra Pal, former Justice and Shri Randhir Kumar, IAS underscored the hidden links between law and sustainability, and presented their views. Vice Chancellor Professor Sanjay Kumar set the tone of this conference with an impassioned plea for climate urgency intertwined with intellectual property rights.
