Students participating in the noble cause

 Project : Save a life, Chapter – 3” was an initiative, designed with the motive of uniting towards a noble cause for the overall betterment and welfare of humanity. Amity University, Kolkata organized this blood donation camp in collaboration with Lions Blood Bank on the 17th of April 2019 in the University campus. The event, directed towards the very purpose, of serving the community was organized under the able flagship of Dr.(Prof.) Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay (Vice Chancellor of Amity University Kolkata) Mr. Vipin Sharma (Vice President of Amity Education Group.) and Dr.(Prof.) Ankita Chakravarty Bhattacharya (Pro Vice Chancellor of Amity University Kolkata). The students and the faculty members of AUK in association with the Lions blood Bank, showed exemplary zeal and gusto, towards making this event a success in the truest of terms. With a figure to be proud of, “Project: Save a life, Chapter-3” turned out to be a great success with 361 people consisting of employees and students, coming forward and donating blood. Towards the terminal end of the campaign, the initiative was successful in collecting enough number of blood bags, all with the intent of saving lives and making a difference in the world. The playful flair of the campaign was the unique 'Hero Certificates' where the photographs of the donors were being instantly clicked and pasted over titled as a Hero! The Certificate of Appreciation from the Lions District 322B1 Blood Bank was handed over by the dignitaries of Lions blood bank, to the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, of Amity University, Kolkata.
