A team of Mechanical Engineering students lead by Vikrant Sharma designed a Formula-1 car named Amity Motorsport and participated in Formula Bharat 2016 engineering design competition which took place at Buddha International Circuit, Greater Noida.

Efficycle – Human Powered Eclectic Vehicle

Ten students of ASET designed and developed an energy efcient hybrid - human powered - three wheeled - electric vehicle - Efcycle. The ergonomically designed vehicle was aerodynamic, highly engineered and safe.

An innovative work by Nikit Gupta of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. It is a device for designing and fabricating innovative room air conditioner based on passive cooling.

Online Inspection System

A system developed by Nikitha Wadhawan, Vidur Gupta and Yajur Thapar of B. Tech. Mechanical Engineering. The system uses a conveyor mechanism for continuous ow of the line products without hampering the production.

Optimization of Disc Brakes for Formula Bharat 2017

An excellent project by Virender Maurya, Mohammad Ahsan Rashid, Sharad Chandra and Ashutosh Bagwadi of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. A brake assembly for Formula Student India (FSI) for gathering the information about the force distribution in Assembly of Master Cylinder, Disc Brakes and Pedal Assembly.

Work for a cause - A project by Aklavya, Shanky, Ishaan and Gaurav Singh of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. A transportation vehicle designed for physically disabled persons especially with crippled legs for easy mobility.

Design and Fabrication of a Monowheel Vehicle

An innovative idea - A project by Anmol Arora, Deeksha Sharma, Jaskaran Singh Khinda and Shahzed Anwar of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. They designed a mono wheel vehicle that allows the input shaft to maintain constant velocity.

A revolutionary project by Rohit Kumar Singh, Akash Sanghi, Aman Kumar and Abhay Chauhan of B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering. It is a device to investigate the effect of EGR on performance and emissions in three cylinders which is typically used in agricultural farm machinery

Smoke Detector Based on Image Processing & Raspberry pi

Rishabh Madan of B.Tech – ECE developed a smoke detection sensor suitable for uniform environments based on image processing technique. The smoke alert thus generated could be sent to a mobile phone.

Brilliant work by Vineet, Samyak Jain and Aman Sharma of B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering. A steering system is designed to make it efcient enough to change the direction of the vehicle.

An outstanding project by Nitin Joshi, Bharat Taneja, Sajal Pandey and Agnivesh Kr. Singh of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. A device designed for transferring of motion from one shaft to another shaft which may be coplanar and non-parallel or which are kept 90 degree apart using gearless transmission system.

A useful creation by Deepak Kalra, Akash Soni, Gopesh Kaushik and Rahul Kora of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. A prototype of semi pneumatic ush system that helps save cost due to the minimized amount of fush water.

Device for detecting Cardiac Disorder from Body Auscultation

Mohan Misra, B.Tech ECE student developed a non-invasive method for automated detection and diagnosis of cardiac diseases from body auscultations using a low cost DSP processor. The handheld device will help screen a large population in rural areas where there is a shortage of medical experts.

Team Leader Aditya Pratap Singh of B.Tech Mechanical and his team fabricated All-Terrain Vehicle and participated in this event held at Pithampur Indore. One of the team members has been placed in Mahindra and Mahindra through this event participation and performance.

A mathematical model by Ms. Vishakha Baghel. The model is a dropwise condensation on wettability graded surface. This is developed to know parametric effects on drop mode of condensation rate.

Abhay Sharma, a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering student developed an ingenious device, ANIDERS "Animal Intrusion Detection and Repellent System" which will ameliorate the lives of farmers by protecting their crops from wild animals without causing any harm to them.

Rohan Bhutani, Pranav, Rohit and Ayesh Malhotra of B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering fabricated a device for making thermocouple. This device can make low cost thermocouple with better accuracy.

Wireless control of powered wheelchair using tongue

Vishal Sharma and Himanshu Singh of B.Tech. ECE designed a wireless powered wheel chair using tongue that will help the people with serve disability with effective access and environment control. It translates users intention into control command by detecting and classifying the users voluntary tongue.

Wadoro: An Autonomous Mobile Robot for Surveillance Wadoro (Watchdog Robot)

Shubham Mittal, B.Tech ECE student designed an autonomous mobile robot for household surveillance in open-spaces like roof and verandah. It is capable to detect humans in near real-time round-the-clock using passive infrared motion sensors and camera. Its work-cycle includes phases of human detection, tracking, recognition and alert-generation with simultaneous phase of self-protection and hence proves as an effective solution to safeguard house by giving alerts on time whenever an intrusion is detected.

B.Tech ECE students Mr. Saarthak Singh, Akhil Sharma and Sheetal Kumar has designed an innovative project based on photovoltaic module tracking and web based data acquisition system for real-time monitoring of electrical parameter of photovoltaic module and the direct solar insolation.

B.Tech ECE students Mr. Vishal Pathak and Mr. Sushant Mongia had worked in an innovative project and designed a system for deaf and dumb. This is a framework for hand gesture recognition based on fusion of Flex, Contact and accelerometer sensor.

B.Tech ECE student Mr. Sudeep Gupta and Ms. Ilika Sharma have designed an advanced cane for visually impaired persons which will help the disabled people.

Fabrication of Pneumatic Based Platform to Reconfigure the Machine Layout

Mohammad Nayad, Ayush Sarraf and Muheet Tariq of B.Tech. – MAE (ASE) proposed a platform to fabricate material handling as well as to facilitate permanent machine mounting on it.

Surveillance drone for power plant and substation

Gaurab Das, Hamid Nisar, Rishabh Kalyan and Prafful Bisht of B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering made efforts to reduce manpower and cost in safety and protection of power plant and substation. The prototype has a quadcopter which has multiple sensors on board with an efcient camera module that transmits live video feeds and other data.

The system uses an IOT based patient health tracking system effectively uses Internet to monitor patient health stats and save lives on time.

An indispensable Safety Gadget is a harmful gas concentration monitoring and alert system which nds its application in gas mines, household kitchen and garbage dumping areas.

Solar Umbrella with Attached fan

A project “Solar Umbrella with Attached fan, Charging Point and Torch” by Ms. Sonal Gupta and Mr. Mayank Agarwal of B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering. A solar umbrella is made with attached solar panels on the top and battery connected to it as a solution of this problem. The umbrella is even connected with a fan, a charging point and also a torch.

An innovative project “Development of Simple and Low cost Andriod based Person Calling system” by Mr. Likth and Ms. Pratekshya of B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering. A simple and low cost Android based wireless notice board is developed. The proposed system uses either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi based wireless serial data communication.

The smart lighting system is based on the movement recognition of trafc and the ambient light intensity on road in order to control the LED street lighting using the dimmer circuits and sensors.

The design of the bodywork is made using the Autodesk software named FUSION to produce the detail 3D design.
