Dr. Satish Kumar is Professor in the Faculty of Political Science, School of Social Sciences at IGNOU, New Delhi, since January 2021. He began his academic career at MMH College, Ghaziabad (CCS University) and later served as Associate Professor at the Central University of Jharkhand and Professor and Head at the Central University of Haryana. He holds an MA, MPhil, and PhD in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
He has held key administrative positions including Dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Chief Proctor, and member of the Executive and Academic Councils at the Central University of Haryana. He also served as Dean and Head of the Centre for International Relations at the Central University of Jharkhand. Currently, he is a member of the University Court at NEHU, Shillong, representing Learned Professions and Special Interests.
His academic interests span International Relations, Area Studies, Foreign Policy, National Security, Peace Studies, and Environmental Politics. A prolific writer, Dr. Kumar has published over 3,000 articles in national dailies, 4 books, and 34 peer-reviewed journal articles. He has supervised 10 MPhil and 5 PhD scholars, served on editorial boards, delivered over 28 invited lectures, and frequently appears as a panelist on leading Indian news channels.
Associate Professor, Centre for African Studies, School of International Studies, JNU
Dr. Jamal M. Moosa is Associate Professor at the Centre for African Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He holds a PhD (2003) and MPhil (1996) in International Studies from the Centre for West Asian and African Studies, SIS, JNU, and a Master’s in Political Science (1993) from the Centre for Political Studies, SSS, JNU. His academic interests include ethnicity, conflict studies, and Lusophone Africa.
He previously served as Associate Professor at the MMAJ Academy of International Studies (2005–2013) and as Assistant Professor at the UGC-Academic Staff College, Jamia Millia Islamia (1999–2005). His peer-reviewed publications include Protracted Conflicts and Rehabilitation: A Study of Child Soldiers in Lusophone Africa (Insight on Africa, 2012), and essays in volumes on globalization, human rights, and Francophone Africa.
Notable recent works include India Engaging with a Resurgent Africa for Development (ORF, 2010) and Challenge of Reconciliation in a Globalised World: A Comparative Study of Algeria and Sudan (Jadavpur Journal of International Studies). His research continues to shape India–Africa studies through scholarly and policy contributions.
Associate Professor, Global Studies, Ambedkar University
Dr. Amit Kumar Mishra holds an M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from the Centre for Historical Studies, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His doctoral research focused on the Indian labour diaspora in Mauritius, exploring the historical trajectories of migration and identity formation.
He served as Assistant Professor at the Centre for Study of Indian Diaspora, University of Hyderabad, from 2008 to 2018. He was also a Fellow at the Weatherhead Initiative on Global History at Harvard University (2014–2015) and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the South Asian Studies Program, National University of Singapore (2006–2007).
Dr. Mishra's work bridges historical inquiry with global migration studies, particularly in the context of the Indian diaspora. His research contributes to understanding transnationalism, indentured labour, and the social histories of South-South migration.

Dr. Suman Sharma is the Principal of Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi. Prior to this, she served as Officer on Special Duty Principal at Dyal Singh College (Evening), University of Delhi. With a background in Political Science, she follows in the footsteps of her predecessor, Dr. Meenakshi Gopinath, who held the position for 27 years and was the first woman to serve on India’s National Security Advisory Board.
Dr. Sharma was selected from a shortlist of twelve notable candidates, including Dr. Alka Sharma, Dr. Shobha Bhaghai, and Dr. Krishna Menon. As Principal, she continues the legacy of academic leadership and excellence that defines LSR College.
Retired Professor in International Relations and Public Policy, Visiting Faculty, AIPP
Prof. Baladas Ghoshal is a former Professor and Chair of the Centre for South and Southeast Asian Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. A pioneer in Southeast Asian Studies in India, he has written extensively on Indonesian politics, ASEAN, and regional security dynamics. Fluent in Malay and Bahasa Indonesia, he brings unique linguistic and cultural insight to his scholarship.
His recent works include a book on India–Indonesia relations published by the Institute of South Asian Studies, Singapore, and a monograph titled China’s Perception of India’s Look East Policy by the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, New Delhi. Prof. Ghoshal continues to be a leading voice in shaping India's Southeast Asia policy discourse.
Professor of Political Science, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi
Prof. Haq is a Professor in the Department of Political Science at Jamia Millia Islamia. Over his career, he has served on numerous Boards of Studies and Academic Committees, contributing significantly to institutional development. From 2010 to 2012, he served as an Observer at the United Nations Human Rights Commission in Geneva, Switzerland, engaging directly with international human rights processes.
