On 26 October 2021, Mr. Prateek Joshi, an expert on terrorism from the University of Oxford, delivered a lecture titled "The Rise of the World's Most Formidable Terrorist Groups." He provided an analysis of prominent terrorist organizations, highlighting their historical emergence, operational strategies, and geopolitical impacts. Joshi also discussed global counter-terrorism efforts, assessing their effectiveness, and addressed the implications of these groups on international security, regional stability, and policy frameworks.

A placement workshop titled "Working in IR Think Tanks: South Asia and Beyond" took place on 9 June 2021, led by Dr. Pramod Jaiswal, Director of NIICE Nepal. Dr. Jaiswal shared insights about careers in international relations-focused think tanks, discussing essential skills, career paths, and professional growth opportunities. He highlighted practical experiences and strategies for success in South Asia's evolving geopolitical landscape, emphasizing the importance of rigorous analysis, networking, and policy advocacy.

Celebrating International Women's Day on 8 March 2021, Professor Susheela Kaushik from the University of Delhi delivered a guest lecture titled "Democratic Rights of Women – The Global Dimensions." She discussed women's democratic rights, analyzing international frameworks, gender equity challenges, and global policy advancements. Professor Kaushik explored women's participation in political processes, highlighting the progress and persisting barriers to gender equality. The session underscored global solidarity and strategies needed for empowering women politically and socially.
