The annual ethical leadership programme, initiated by Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, chairperson, Amity Group of Schools under the aegis of The Global Times-Amity’s youth newspaper, aims at grooming students as harbingers of change. Young leaders from across all Amity International Schools work on different social issues related to women, by forming teams, researching topics, designing plans of action, generating funds and finally showcasing their work in the form of a presentation at the grand finale.

School YP team ‘Heal Thy Self’ lifted the winner’s trophy along with AIS Noida and also bagged the ‘Best Documentation’ award at the 12th and first ever virtual grand finale of Youth Power. They took upon themselves to spread awareness about importance of maintaining good health and fitness as a way of life. Team’s campaign was aired in a special segment on radio channel 104.8 wherein they explained the idea of Fit is Hit. Their endeavour for ‘Hum Fit Toh India Fit’ won them ‘Fit India’ flagship by the government of India, an initiative launched by Prime Minister MrNarendra Modi. The team comprised mentor Sonali Batra, leader Charvi Mendiratta (Class XI) and members Harshaa Kawatra and Isha Agarwal (Class XI). The virtual finale was graced and judged by MsRicha an alumna of IIT Roorkee and former Vice President, Morgan Stanley, now a naturalist, and MsDeeksha Mittra, former media professional and life skill coach.
